CanvasTree respects your privacy and ensures that the confidentiality of the information collected by us through our relationship with you is preserved. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information to any third party entity except as necessary to fulfill your order (i.e. Shipping).

Payment Policy

CanvasTree accepts payment through all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as Paypal. We also accept personal checks and money orders for orders made through mail. Work begins once payment is received.

Shipping Policy

CanvasTree uses either FedEx Residential or UPS ground to ship orders upon completion of your hand painted museum quality oil painting. Transit time typically takes 1-5 business days depending on the destination location. CanvasTree safely and securely packages all orders and obtains shipping insurance for the value of the shipped artwork. CanvasTree does not charge its customers for the cost of either the shipping or insurance. We currently only ship to locations within the 48 Contigent States.

Refund & Return Policy

If you are not absolutely amazed with your framed oil painting, you may return it for 100% refund. To qualify for the refund, you must inform us within 10 days of receipt by sending us a notice of your intention to return the artwork to refund@canvastree.com. Be sure to include your order number and any reasoning for the return that you wish to provide. We will subsequently send you a Return Form to be filled out along with instructions on how to safely and securely re-package the artwork for return. The complete refund will be provided once the artwork has been safely returned undamaged. For this reason, it is highly encouraged that you acquire shipping insurance for the purchase price of the artwork to avoid any risk of shipping damage when returning.

CanvasTree pays for the cost of shipping and insurance associated with the delivery of artwork to each customer, and will refund 100% of the purchase price for returned artwork. CanvasTree is not responsible however for the cost of shipping or insurance associated with the return of artwork for refunds.

Damaged Artwork

CanvasTree takes great effort in safely and securely packaging artwork for delivery. In the unlikely event that the artwork is damaged as a result of shipping, please contact us immediately via the “Contact Us” link on the home page. Please be sure to include your order number and the words “Shipping Damage” in the subject line. We will work with UPS on the claim process (this may require UPS to inspect the damaged product and packaging). CanvasTree will work with you on a suitable resolution, whether it be fixing, replacing, or refunding the damaged artwork.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations of either a Master Art Reproductions or Custom Portraits order after the order has been processed and the artist has begun painting, will be subject to a charge of 25% of the price of the painting.

This 25% cancellation charge does not apply to returns because we are so confident that our artwork will throuroughly amaze you once you have had the chance of viewing it up close that if at that point you are not completely satisfied we are willing to assume the risk of financial loss associated with a return. Cancellations on the other hand have no bearing on the quality of our work and result in a financial loss to CanvasTree in both materials and time spent by the artist. The cancellation charge is meant to ensure only committed orders are placed.

Copyright Policy

All artwork found on CanvasTree.com are either in the public domain, carry a license for use and or reproduction, or have the explicit permission of the owner of the copyright material to use and copy as deemed fit.

Customers are soley responsible and liable for ensuring that they either are the rightful copyright owner or have the explicit permission from the copyright owner of any photograph or artwork uploaded or sent to CanvasTree for the purposes of reproducing on a handpainted oil on canvas medium and that they comply with all applicable federal and state laws as pertaining to such images.

Right of Refusal Policy

CanvasTree reserves the right to refuse to paint from any source photo or reproduce any artwork that is deemed objectionable, including but not limited to images that are adult oriented and images that are offensive or discrimanatory to any race, religion, or peoples.

CanvasTree reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. Any modified policy will be effective commencing the day it is posted.
